Nivin Pauly's most awaited Kollywood project 'Richie' directed by Gautham Ramachandran gets a release date. The movie, which is the Tamil remake of the super hit Kannada film 'Ulidavaru Kadanthe,' will reportedly hit the theaters on May 12th. Sources say that the movie is currently in the post-production stage.

The movie will feature the actor in the title character, Richie - a pakka local rowdy and the actor has also dubbed for himself for the role. Set in the Thothukkudi locality, the movie also features cinematographer-turned-actor Nataraja Subramanian also plays an equally important role in this film. Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath of U-Turn fame plays Nivin Pauly's romantic interest in the film. The movie also has Ashwin Kumar, Prakash Raj and Lakshmi Chandramouli in prominent roles.
