Nivin Pauly's Sakhavu helmed by Sidhartha Siva is gearing up to hit the big screens this Vishu season on April 15. As Nivin Pauly did not have a release for almost a year now after the 2016 release Jacobinte Swargarajyam, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the star's new movie. The latest piece of news is that Sakhavu has completed the censor formalities and bagged a clean 'U' certificate.

This upcoming political drama is scripted by director Sidhartha Siva, himself. In the movie, Nivin Pauly is appearing in a double role, as Sakhavu Krishnan and student leader Krishnakumar. Featuring Kaaka Muttai fame Aishwarya Rajesh in the female lead, the movie also stars actor-writer Sreenivasan in a key role along with Aparna Gopinath, Gayathri Suresh, Maniyanpilla Raju, Joju George and many others in the supporting roles.

Produced by B Rakesh, under the banner Universal Cinema, Sakhavu has music by Prashant Pillai. As the movie is nearing it's release date, the team is currently busy with the promotion activities!
