Nivin Pauly's Sakhavu garners praises from Kerala CM

Nivin Pauly`s latest release 'Sakhavu' is entering its second week of theatrical run and continues to garner praises from audience, celebrities and critics alike. The latest one to shower praises for the movie is Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan who recently watched the movie along with his family in Trivandrum. Pinarayi Vijayan who thoroughly enjoyed the film, said that Sakhavu is not just a political drama, but a well-made neat film watchable for all age groups.
Apart from Pinarayi Vijayan, several other ministers such as CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Thiruvananthapuram mayor VK Prashanth, AK Saseendran and VKC Mammed Koya MLA also joined the CM for watching the movie. Sakhavu's director Sidhartha Siva and few crew members were also present for the show.
Bankrolled by B Rakesh under the banner Universal Cinema, Sakhavu is centered around the lives of two contrasting communist leaders In the movie, Nivin Pauly essays the central character Krishna Kumar, a communist whose life changes after a medical college visit. Apart from the previously said role Krishnakumar, Nivin is also seen as comrade Krishnan, the character which is set the 70s-80s period. Aparna Gopinath, Aishwarya Rajesh, Gayathri Suresh, Sreenivasan, Binu Pappu, Sudheesh, Althaf, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Baiju and many others are also part of the cast.
