Striking Rajini-Kamal connection in Nivin Pauly's Tamil film

Malayalam cinema's top hot sensation Nivin Pauly is presently acting in a Tamil film. This is the Tamil remake of Kannada super hit 'Ulidavaru Kandandhe'. The film is being directed by Gautham Ramachandran.

The film has been shot in and around Tuticorin. Natty aka Nataraj plays an important character in the film.

So far is was being reported that the film has been titled as 'Santa Maria'. But now it looks like the makers have fixed on the title 'Avargal' which is also the tile of director K.Balachander's 1977 film that had Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Superstar Rajinikanth in lead roles.

We have to wait for an official confirmation in this regard.
