Here's a happy news for all Nivin Pauly fans out there! The actor's much-awaited movie Sakhavu has finally got a release date. The movie, which will be the first release of Nivin Pauly in 2017, will hit the theatres on April 14th, as a Vishu release.

Directed by National award-winner Sidhartha Siva, the political drama features Aishwarya Rajesh in the female lead. In the movie, Nivin essays the central character Krishna Kumar, a communist whose life changes after a medical college visit.

Scripted by director Sidhartha himself, the movie also features actor-writer Sreenivasan in a key role along with Aparna Gopinath, Gayathri Suresh, Maniyanpilla Raju, Joju George and many others in the supporting roles. Produced by B Rakesh, under the banner Universal Cinema, Sakhavu has music by Prashant Pillai.
