Nivin in 'Premam' actor's directorial debut

According to reports, Nivin Pauly will play the lead in 'Premam' actor Althaf's directorial debut. Althaf had acted in Alphonse Puthran's 'Premam'. The lanky lad had appeared as Mary's protector in the first half of the movie.
Nivin apparently heard the story and immediately gave the green signal for the project. In fact, Nivin himself will produce the movie. Althaf, it is reported, doesn't have much of a mainstream experience, but is an intensely creative person. He, like Nivin is a native of Aluva.
