Nivetha Thomas bags 'Pushpa'

Pushpa- this title, and of course, film as well, has been making headlines for various reasons. The Allu Arjun starrer and Sukumar directorial is in news for the addition of various leading and popular artistes into their cast.
Vijay Sethupathi and Rashmika Mandanna are officially part of the film. As per the latest buzz, Kannada actor Dhananjay and even Suneil Shetty are also part of the film. And now, name of another popular actress down south is doing rounds as the other leading lady of the film and it is none other than Nivetha Thomas who is said to have signed for the film.
Meanwhile, Nivetha Thomas is also working on Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab, the Telugu remake of hit Bollywood film, Pink.
She is currently basking on the success of Darbar. Though the film failed in collecting much at the box office, Nivetha working with Rajinikanth itself is a big success for her.
The story of the film Pushpa is based on red sanders smuggling and it is set against the backdrop of Seshachalam forest, the hilly region of Tirumala. Jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
