Nivetha Pethuraj, who is busy juggling film projects in Telugu and Tamil, was in for a huge shock when she discovered a cockroach in her meal. She had ordered meals through the online food delivery service Swiggy. The 'RED' actress promptly took to her social media pages and exposed the shoddy service.

“I have no idea what standards @swiggyindia and the restaurants nowadays are maintaining. I found cockroaches twice lately in my food. It’s very vital to inspect these restaurants on a regular basis and fine them heavily if not up to standards," the 'Virata Parvam' actress wrote.
She asked how can the restaurant be so reckless and urged Swiggy to remove the concerned restaurant from its app.
On the professional front, the actress is part of 'Paagal', headlined by Vishwak Sen. She is also doing a multi-starrer with Megha Akash, Reba Monica John and Manjima Mohan in Telugu and Tamil. Titled 'October 31st Ladies Night', it is being directed by AL Vijay. Tamil movies titled 'Party' and 'Pon Manickavel' are also in her kitty.
