Nivetha Pethuraj, who was seen in Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' earlier this year, has bagged 'Viraata Parvam'. Starring Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi in the lead, the period drama is directed by Venu Udugula.

The 'Brochevarevarura' actress is going to be seen in a key role in this social drama that also features Priyamani (as a Maoist) and others. The film was supposed to release long back. It recently resumed its shoot after months of shutdown. It was believed that the film's shoot was coming to an end. An update from the makers suggests that important portions involving Nivetha are going to be shot this month. The actress is already in Hyderabad to shoot for her portions. Rana, too, recently resumed his work.

Produced by D Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri, the film also features Nandita Das, Eswari Rao and Zareena Wahab.

Coming to Nivetha, she awaits the release of Ram Pothineni's 'RED', which is directed by Kishore Tirumala. Both this and 'Viraata Parvam' are early 2021 releases.
