Nivetha gets rave reviews for ‘Darbar’ act

Nivetha Thomas has played the role of Rajinikanth’s daughter in ‘Darbar’ and the actress is getting rave reviews.  If the reactions on social media are anything to go by, the audience too have endorsed her.

“AR Murugadoss’ instinct was right in casting her as the Superstar’s doting daughter in the mass-action entertainer.  He must have been influenced by the 2015 Tamil movie ‘Papanasam’, in which the ‘Ninnu Kori’ actress played Kamal Haasan’s daughter,” a source comments.

In Telugu, 2019 offers her two interesting films.  She is doing ‘V’, starring Nani and Sudheer Babu in key roles.  Besides this, she is (unofficially as yet) playing one of the key female characters in Pawan Kalyan’s comeback movie.  “It has worked that Nivetha didn’t accept too many run-of-the-mill movies after ‘Jai Lava Kusa’.  Last year’s ‘Brochevarevarura’ proved that the young actress knows how to pick good films,” the source adds.
