Nitin is not out

He still looks your neigbourhood boy going to college. There are no starry trappings to Nitin who has done three films so far --- Jayam and Dil being big grossers. The other one Sambaram did average business.
But there is nothing average about Nitin himself; heis steely-willed and street-smart. Qualities that he
needs to survive in the cut-throat world of cinema.Nitin realises that any actor is only as good as his
last film. It is a truism that he never forgets toremember. Nitin is right now working with Krishna
Vamsi in Anjaneyam and with the winning-streaked Rajamouli.
Anjanayem is expected to be released first, and Nitin cannot stop talking about the role he is doing in the film. 'Not surprisingly, as the name of the film would suggest, I am doing the role of a Hanuman devotee. It is a film that is replete with messages for the people and plenty of scope for my acting,' he says.
As far as Sye goes, Nitin says it is a powerful love story and 'I am paired opposite Genela'. He also
cannot stop talking about Raja Mouli. 'He is amazing and I have learnt a lot from him'.For a man who says who entered filmdom through happenstance, Nitin takes his work pretty seriously. 'But my work is one thing and luck is another. I have been lucky enough to work under the likes of Teja and
VV Vinayak. And now with Krishna Vamsi and Raja Mouli, things have got better.'
Nitin, even while expatiating on his success does not mind talking about the failures ---like in Sambaram.'It was also needed for me. But I didn't allow thesetback to get to me'.
Nitin says his aim is to do different roles. 'Getting typecast is like a stigma. 'I would rather be known as a versatile actor who can get under the skin of any character he is playing.'Nitin, it seems is a wrong name for him. Notout, would be more like it.
