Nithya Menen is busy promoting her upcoming web series Breathe 2- Into the Shadows. This web series has Abhishek Bachchan and Amit Sadh in lead roles, and will stream on Prime Video from July 10.

The actress is talking to various news based portals, talking about the series and has said that she has been very much excited when she was offered the role. Nithya plays a mother in this series.

Talking about something besides the series, Nithya opened up on how she was body shamed and trolled for her weight.

Nithya said, “People don’t ask you why you are putting on weight. They just pass comments and troll you in every possible way. I believe I am much better and have done a lot more in life than what they have done. Trolling someone is easy. But you should know what the other person goes through.”

She has also never given an interview about such things and felt that despite her body weight, the industry has given her dues and that speaks more for her.

Nithya said that there have been times when she did not like uttering some sexist dialogues given to her, and so, has taken a break in the past. No, she is in love with her work.
