Before few days, accusations were made against actress Nithya Menen that she had insulted producers, and several Malayalam film producers made this accusation, calling her an egoistic person, and reportedly, plans were on to ban her from acting in Malayalam films.

In such a situation, the actress has now opened up on what had happened, in a recent TV interview. Reportedly, when the actress had been shooting for a Malayalam movie, she had got to know that her mother was diagnosed with cancer, third stage, and Nithya also had been in pain with her migraine issues.

During the shoot, she often had pains due to migraine besides thoughts of her mother which made her cry, and at such times, several producers had come to meet her without appointments, and she had reportedly requested them to meet her later as she was not in good health, but the producers had projected her as an egoistic person who refused to talk to them. I am not egoistic, but they are, said Nithya, who added that she later understood there was no point in worrying about such people and started concentrating on work.
