The year 2015 will be the most memorable one for young and chirpy actress Nithya Menen as far as her career in Tamil cinema is concerned. The talented actress who has been struggling for a break in Kollywood struck gold this year with her fantastic performance in Mani Ratnam`s romantic entertainer O Kadhal Kanmani` and Raghava Lawrence`s horror flick Kanchana 2` and both the films became super hits at the box office.

Now Nithya Menen is a part of what may be termed as her first entry into a big ticket project 24` directed by Vikram Kumar in which she plays one of the heroines of Suriya. She is also acting as the lead heroine in K.S.Ravikumar directed Tamil-Kannada bilingual which has Sudeep as the male lead.

Now reports suggest that she has bagged one of the female lead roles in Mani Ratnam`s next film which will have Karthi, Dulquer Salman and Keerthy Suresh in other pivotal roles. Sources reveal that the OK Kanmani` actress will be paired up opposite Karthi in this film which means she will be acting alongside the star brothers Suriya and Karthi at the same time.
