Shriya Saran's 'Gamanam' is an upcoming drama directed by debutante Sujana Rao. The female-centric film has the 'Manam' and 'Gautramiputra Satakarni' actress as a speech-impaired person.

The news is that Nithya Menen will be seen in a special role in the multi-lingual entertainer. The 'Ala Modalaindi' actress will be seen as a singer in this Maestro Ilaiyaraaja musical. A poster in which the 'Janatha Garage' actress is seen performing at a concert, clad in a saree, is out. The 'Mission Mangal' actress has already shot for her portions.

With dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra, 'Gamanam' will be released in all the major south Indian languages and Hindi. With stunts by Jashuva and cinematography by Gnanasekhar VS, its release date is yet to be announced.
