Malayalee actor Nithya Menon was selected as the best actress of 2010 in the Telugu state Nandhi awards, announced a couple of days ago. The actress was selected the best for her role in the film 'Ala Modalainthy', whose dubbed version is currently in Kerala theatres in the title 'Angane thudangi'. The talented actress who has got plenty of projects under her sleeve was recently seen in'Violin' in Malayalam and '180' degree' in Tamil.

NTR's son, N Balakrishna was selected the best actor while Allu Arjun's 'Vedham' was named the best film in the year's Nandhi awards.
