A few weeks back, many reports revealed that Nithya Menon might well be doing the role of Basavatharakam, the late wife of the legendary NT Rama Rao, in the biopic to be done by Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Nithya was pretty much diplomatic about not doing the film. In her latest interview, she has said she is not doing it. When asked if she was indeed approached, she suggests the makers did approach. However, the versatile actress doesn't explicitly admit she was approached.

The actress's most recent Telugu release is 'AWE'. 'Prana', the Malayalam-Telugu-Kannada-Hindi movie, is her next release.
