He is the most-wanted lens man in the state and his work speaks or him. People in the Tamil film industry, particularly directors, who have worked with Nirav Shah once, keep coming back to him. The cinematographer became popular across the country for his work in 'Dhoom' series.

Nirav Shah who has worked as PC Sriram's associate, according to reports, would like to be a filmmaker at some point in his life. He is so busy in the south that he does not get to sign Bollywood projects due to sheer lack of time to commit himself there.

Nirav Shah is currently busy with Linguswamy's 'Vettai' which sees Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Post 'Vettai' his dates have been booked for other projects, out of which Nirav will be joining AL Vijay and Vikram's next project. He also will be the cinematographer for a film which will see Siddharth and Amala Paul in the lead.

The cinematographer, who loves to watch films for the stars in it, believes that the script is a very important factor for a film. He attributes all that he has learnt so far to his mentor PC Sriram from whom he learnt how to learn.
