One more to the acting fraternity comes from super star Upendra family. Niranjan son of Sudheendra elder brother of Upendra takes up a rough and mass look role in ‘2nd Half’ with Chikkamma Priyanka Upendra playing the lead role in the film. Already daughter of Upendra Kumari Aishwarya making debut in ‘Howrah Bridge’ with mother Priyanka Upendra has been announced.

This six foot tall, fair and handsome youngster Niranjan worked with Upendra in ‘Uppi-2’ and gained technical experience. He has BBM graduation on hand, worked in Taksh theatre group and obtained experience from 12 stage plays. He won the state award for his last stage play.

Niranjan was surprised when his photo in the house attracted director Yogi Devaganga for a role. I did not know that I would be invited. When the offer to come with my Chikkamma, I did not give up the offer. I finished BBM just around that time and acted in a theatre group Taksh in around 12 plays. The recent one got me state award too.

So there was no fear in facing the camera says the young hero Niranjan. He is called as ‘Neeru’ in the 2nd Half Kannada cinema. It is quite rough and mass in debut. Niranjan is hoping for good results for the film because Yogi Devaganga has a strong subject.
