The release date of Nippu is now Feb. 2. Producer YVS Chowdhary is planning to release the audio on Jan. 7. It is known that the film was in the Sankranthi race.

Starring Ravi Teja and Deeksha Seth in the leads, the film has music by SS Thaman. Sans a song, which will be shot in a couple of dates from now, Nippu is done.

Director Gunasekhar is said to be satisfied with the output. His last film, Varudu, which was released on March 31, 2010, was a resounding flop. On the face of it, it seems he is trying something different in Nippu. Everyone from the producer to the hero to the director are confident that Nippu will surprise the audience.

Now that the film is out of the Sankranthi race, Ravi Teja is set to conquer the market in Februrary. It would have had to compete with The Businessman and Bodyguard otherwise. The theaters are choc-a-bloc with at least five major releases (TBM, Bodyguard, Poola Rangadu, Adhinayakudu and Snehithudu) hitting the marquee.
