'Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene', starring Sundeep Kishan and Anya Singh in the lead, is a multi-genre, emotional thriller set to release on July 12. Directed by Caarthick Raaju, its pre-release event was held on Thursday evening. Organized by Jai Media Factory, it was hosted by Manjusha and Bhargav. Prominent cinematographer Chota K Naidu, Sanjeev Reddy of APR Projects, Jagga Rao of Tiles Mart, Surpiya, executive producers Shiva Cherry and Seetharam, among others, attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Sudheer Babu said, "Sundeep is one of the few good actors I know. Hit or flop, the blame is usually laid at the doorsteps of the male lead. With 'NVNN', Sundeep is also donning the role of a producer. So, he is more responsible now for the result of the movie. When it comes to analyzing movies, Sundeep is very talented. I feel that his best is yet to come. His recent films didn't do well at the BO and he is now a producer. He has put his heart and soul into its making. I am sure it is going to be a big hit. I hope he will continue to produce movies in association with others. I tend to go into depression if a movie of mine flops. I take inspiration from Sundeep, who is a determined fighter."
Nikhil Siddharth said, "Sundeep is an amazing human being. Once I started interacting with him, we never stopped. I am usually averse to attending functions like this one, as I don't know what to speak. But I have come here with a lot of interest. During the making of 'NVNN', I came to know from Vennela Kishore that the output is coming out really well. I came to know from others in the industry that 'NVNN' is a very good product. I then asked Sundeep if I can join him as a co-producer. I am usually cautious when it comes to investing money. But in this case, I wanted to invest money just on the basis of the positive talk. We all see ups and downs in life. We have to bounce back every time we fall. Sundeep will make a comeback with 'NVNN'. It's his turn to rise again. Nobody can stop him now."
Karthikeya said, "This is my first event as a guest. Sundeep anna is a senior compared to me and he always talks with me so well whenever we bump into each other. He is like an elder brother. His love for cinema inspires me a lot. He tries new-age films. After 'Hippi' flopped last month, I took time to overcome the failure. Sundeep anna has seen several ups and downs in the last 8 years. And he has emerged stronger each time. That's inspiring. On July 12 last year, 'RX 100' released. This year, it is 'NVNN'."
Vishwak Sen said, "Producing a film is like doing a good deed because many people get to eat food thrice a day on set. When I was making 'Falaknuma Das', every day I would be content that many got to eat food because of the film. With passion, one can be right. Sundeep Kishan is a passionate actor. I heard some producer said something ill about him. It seems he forgot the body of work of Sundeep. I was in Mumbai when 'Shor In The City' was being made and when I saw him, I told myself that Sundeep is here to stay in the film industry. He is one of the first persons to inspire me."
Daya Pannem said, "Sundeep has been my best friend and a brother. I was a software professional in the US in the past. I started my journey as an exhibitor and a distributor. Eventually, I bonded well with Sundeep. I always make it a point to meet him whenever he visits the US to discuss movies. We decided to start a banner and produce movies. And we started looking for novel scripts. I have produced an independent film in Hollywood. It reached the stage of Oscar nomination. I am passionate about cinema. 'NVNN' has got everything going for it. We will continue to do many more good films in our banner. 'NVNN' will be a sure hit."
Director Caarthick Raaju said, "This is a very very special film to me. When he liked the script, Sundeep was ready not just to act but also to produce the movie. I thank the other two producers - Daya Pannem and Viji Subramanyam as well. I can say that the audience will surely love the movie."
Anya Singh said, "This is my first Telugu movie. I feel lucky to have got to work with a team that is so passionate about cinema. I hope the audience will accept me as an actress."
Ramajogayya Sastry said, "Sundeep has a lot of love for me. He kept telling me repeatedly that there is a situation for the film's climax, which needs a song and that only I should pen it. When Thaman gave the tune, I wrote the song with lots of love. I also watched the visuals pertaining to the climax while penning the song. I too am eagerly waiting to watch the movie like the audience."
Sundeep Kishan said, "Every time, I only say that I have done a good film. For the first time, let me say that I have done an amazing film. I have done a sure-shot hit. This was possible because of the team effort. We all worked hard for the film. Everything fell into place for this project. I can say that this has been the most successful project in my career. Everybody got what they wanted on set. And, as a producer, I have done full justice to everybody. The film will speak for itself on July 12. To be honest, we were unsure about the Friday release until this morning. It was too tense a situation. All that I know is that one has to keep faith in the story. And the film has to be promoted in the right manner. Sometimes, some forces will be there to stall your march. Cinema is above all individuals. We faced enormous obstacles during the making of 'NVNN'. Every time, they would be gone the next day rather miraculously. Shiva and Seetharam were literally crying on Tuesday morning because of a new obstacle.
I was clueless. They are a God-given family to me. It's because of them that this film has come this long. Our editor Chota K Prasad and writer Samrat have worked really hard like everybody else. Sudheer Babu once told me that 'SMS' (movie) couldn't be completed without its producer having to take a loan from 77 individuals. I never understood how one can borrow from those many individuals. I now know what it means. Ramajogayya Sastry garu has written a key song, which only he could have penned. The song will be released on the day the film releases. I am sure the film will be loved by the audience."
Posani Krishna Murali, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Poornima Bhagyaraj and Pragathi are part of the cast.
