The famous Usha Kiron Movies banner has been known to give a good break to aspiring actors and usually they come up with sensible storylines and decent budgets. But this time, they have gone way off the mark with this new flick which is ideally a youth entertainer. Claiming to be a fine line between friendship and romance, the film has actually left a question mark on the audience's face.

The story is about two young pair of love birds - Chandu (chaitanya) and Bindu (pia), Abhiram (santosh) and Deepa (deepa). Both Abhi and Bindu are IT professionals and their job takes them to the US for a small project. It is here that both of them meet and as luck would have it, both of them get assigned to same project. They become friends and few incidents happen which tend to give them a feeling of more than friendship. Back in India, a chance switch of covers get Chandu and Deepa close and they become friends. However, confusion happens between Abhiram and Bindu as they are getting the feeling of love. The time comes when the project is wrapped up and Abhiram decides to convey his feelings while Bindu is waiting for it. What happens from there forms the rest of the tale.

The director attempted to show that today's generation is quite mature and they know the difference between friendship and love, however, that needs a perfect presentation and a good screenplay which was missing completely. The script was not written well and there are many flaws, background score was more of a disturbance and it was sometimes annoying. The songs could not appeal enough and there was just one song that really clicked. Cinematography was a saving grace, editing again was poor and couldn't get the sequences right. Costumes and art department were the saving grace.

The film has fallen flat right from the take off and it was not able to strike a chord with the audience. It must be said that the director has not handled the script deftly, the performances except Chaitanya and Deepa were also not that impressive. Lack of strong comedy and haphazard arrangement of scenes was another setback. There are few logical defects in the narrative and the makers simply ignored something called eye for detail. Few lapses were evident on the screen and the pace of the film has been dull.

Overall, the film has turned out to be a damp squib and it tests the patience of the audience in a big way. This might not be a good Gandhi Jayanthi after all if you want to get some entertainment from the theatres.
