Out of all the formats of acting, theatre acting is the one which requires most skill and technical knowledge. This is why it is not surprising that theatre trained actors form the backbone of our film industry as well. Actress Nimrat Kaur, who will soon be seen in the comedy flick 'Dasvi', is also a theatre actor and recently she opened up about the significance of her stage experience in her film career.
According to a report in TOI, Nimrat said, "It is an experience to work in a play. As an actor, it allows you to have a firm command over the craft because, unlike films, there is no cut on the stage. There is always so much room for improvisation and for exploration as an artist. I do wish to be a part of more plays in the coming future."
Nimrat is known for her nuanced performances in films like 'Lunchbox', 'Airlift' etc and she has also worked in plays like 'Baghdad Wedding', 'All About Women' and 'Red Sparrow' among others.
