After being away from the big screen for around six years, actress Nimrat Kaur made an amazing comeback with the recently released comedy flick 'Dasvi'. This was her first film since 2016's 'Airlift' which is quite odd since Bollywood is a highly competitive place and it is not considered wise to take long breaks from work.
However, in a recent media interaction, Nimrat shared that she wasn't avoiding the work deliberately. "I haven't consciously stayed away from Bollywood films. I genuinely wanted to work on more projects," she told Hindustan Times.
The actress conceded that she should have been more active in Bollywood after 'Airlift'. She stated, "I wish I could have chased my last Hindi project way quicker with a new project. But that's something you can't control, especially me, because I work abroad, too. Straight after Airlift, I went abroad to do a television show called Wayward Pines, which took six months."
