Sporting an old avatar, the actress looks barely recognizable in her new look, which is winning praises from all corners. The actress looks intense wearing spectacles and clad in cotton casual saree. Her character's name is Roslin in the film.

Nimisha Sajayan, who shot into fame with her superb performance in Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, also has movies such as 'One' and 'Thuramukham' due for release.

Helmed by 'Take Off' director Mahesh Narayanan, ‘Malik’ is touted to be a political thriller that had Fahad Faasil in the lead role. Set in the backdrop of the 1980s, 'Malik' is shot in coastal areas and is said to be based on real-life issues faced by minorities.

It is said that Fahadh Faasil is appearing in four different get-ups in 'Malik', which travels through different timelines. 'Malik' is the second directorial of Mahesh Narayanan after 'Take Off'.

The movie's cast also includes actors like Joju George, Nimisha Sajayan, Dileesh Pothan, Vinay Forrt, Indrans, Sudhi Koppa, Chandhunath, and Vinay Forrt in major roles. Made on a whopping budget of 27 crores, the film is produced by Anto Joseph, under the banner Anto Joseph Film Company. Sanu George is in charge of Cinematography and music is by Sushin Shyam. As per sources, the makers are planning to release the film by April.
