The city of Delhi has been a favourite place of filmmakers since a long time. The rich culture and beautiful aesthetic of the city has the potential to fit in numerous intriguing stories. However, the smog and pollution during winter months in recent years have made it difficult for film crews to carry out shoots without risking their health. In a recent conversation with ETimes, actor Nikitin Dheer talked about the challenges he faced while working in Delhi recently.
He stated, "We had no option, as we had planned the shoot a long time back, and we had to wrap it up as planned. There were outdoor shooting sequences and we all could feel the smog. It was not the ideal time to shoot in Delhi, but we somehow managed."
Revealing that he could not go out with his friends and cousins because of the poor air quality, Dheer said, "We were asked to stay indoors as much as possible because the air quality was in the ‘very poor’ category. We would only step out for our shoot and tried to remain indoors as much as possible. After completing my shoot, I met some of my friends, but we didn’t go out."
