Popular South Indian actress Nikita Thukral will be getting married to a Mumbai-based industrialist Gagandeep Singh Mago during this auspicious Dussehra weekend. To refresh the memory of readers, she debuted opposite Aryan Rajesh in 'Hai' way back in early 2000s. A talent first encouraged by late D Ramanaidu, she has since gone on to act in a number of Kannada movies (where she has shared the screen space with the likes of Upendra, Puneet Rajkumar, and V Ravichandran), although her Tollywood stint was dull.

She is now in news as she is marrying at a big fat ceremony. Gagan is the son of Mahinder Singh Mago, leading industrialist and former Vice President of Youth Congress.

Nikita had met Gagan at a cousin's wedding last December and the duo fell in love at first sight. Then the duo obtained the consent of their parents.

The wedding reception and the traditional wedding ceremony will be held on Saturday and Sunday (October 8 & 9), respectively, at a five star hotel in Mumbai. Family members, friends and Nikita's industry colleagues from Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries are expected to grace the occasion.

The to-be-wed couple have also finalised Bahamas as their honeymoon location.

Nikita was born into a Punjabi family and grew up in Mumbai. The tall and talented actress has said she will continue acting in films post-marriage. She is presently busy shooting for the Kannada film 'Mukunda Murari' with Upendra and another film 'Raja Simha' and a few other small-ticket projects in Telugu and Malayalam.
