Nikhil and Swathi who hit the bulls eye with the heist film 'Swamy Ra Ra...' are again pairing up for 'Karthikeya', a thriller in med school backdrop. The film is being produced by Venkata Srinivas Boggaram on the banner Magnum Cine Prime, presented by Siruvuri Rajesh Varma and directed by debutante Chandu Mondeti. The movie has finished two schedules of shooting and is entering into the third and the last.

Director said ‘The film has the leads as medical students and Nikhil’s character strong on his convictions. The story goes in a thriller and entertaining mode and I am sure, will be a good follow up success for the lead pair’s earlier runaway hit SRR’ Producer said plans are on to release the film in December and this will be the highest budgeted film in Nikhil’s career as of now.’
