'Krack' has not released today (January 9). The shows were cancelled at short notice, leaving the audience in a lurch and distributors/exhibitors high and dry. The first major post-lockdown Tollywood title has created avoidable anxiety for the film industry.
At a time like this, Nikhil Siddhartha has thanked the audience for standing by the Ravi Teja-starrer. Taking to Twitter, the 'Arjun Suravaram' actor applauded the audience for patiently waiting at theatres after shows were cancelled on Saturday in the last minute "Cinema Theatres ki Audience occharu... Delay undi ani cheppina... alage wait chestunnaru... Hats off to Our Telugu People for Supporting Telugu Cinema So Passionately. Wishing all Success to #Krack My Favourite Ravi Teja & the Whole Team," the 'Karthikeya 2' actor wrote.
Many seem to have been waiting at theatres because, true to form, no clear-cut update has been given by the stakeholders involved. When you are told the show will start in a couple of hours, you will, of course, take chances and wait out. Does that show your boundless love for cinema? Nikhil thinks so!
