Nikhil Siddharth did a blunder by accepting it!

Probably for the first time in his career, Nikhil Siddharth hasn't had a release for 16 months at a stretch. 'Arjun Suravaram' (previously called as 'Mudra') was scheduled to release in the last week of December 2018. This is July 2019. Guess what, the producers of this film are nowhere to be even heard!
After maintaining mum for months on end, Nikhil has broken his silence on the movie. "Our movie will arrive at the theatres after Peddanna's 'Saaho'," he said. The Prabhas film will come on August 30. Assuming there is going to be a 2-week gap between these two films, 'Arjun Suravaram' won't release before September 15. By then, a few delayed films will be competing to book the slot.
It has to be seen if distributors and exhibitors will show interest in 'AS' in a busy month like September. After all, they will have so many other choices.
Nikhil did a blunder by accepting this remake. After 'Kirrak Party' (which too was a remake), he probably felt its story and character suited him. Everyone has the benefit of hindsight now but when he accepted the remake, everything must have looked fine to Nikhil.
