Nikhil Siddhartha is admittedly sad and distressed. Reason? 'Arjun Suravaram' has been postponed once again. It won't be releasing on May 1.
Asian Cinemas, which is the distributor of the investigative thriller, has decided to postpone the release in view of 'Avengers' occupying the lion's share of multiplex screens. "We have total faith in 'Arjun Suravaram'. However, we want it to be released on a better date. We have requested the producers to choose a date after the release of 'Maharshi'," Asian Cinemas has said in a statement.
So, the film will be hitting the screens only after May 20 or so. Reacting to the development, Nikhil has tweeted out saying, "I am heart-broken and sad. 'Arjun Suravaram' had completed its Censor formalities yesterday with a clean U/A and we were joyous about the release. But then it is in the hands of the distributors who liked the movie and bought it. I am tied to respect their decision."
Nikhil's reaction is understandable. Remember that this flick was supposed to release in the last week of December.
