Nikhil Siddharth has hit out at those who are seen to be resorting to "Hindu-shaming" around Diwali. "Libtards(Liberal+Retards) who are saying that CELEBRATING Diwali with fireworks is wrong should mind their own business. We will celebrate the way we want," he said in a strongly-worded post on Twitter.

"Bursting fireworks for IPL matches is cool, it's cool for political victories, but Fireworks for a festival which is part of our culture, it is wrong," he said in another post, which got more than 2500 likes!

But is not buying costly crackers a waste of money that can be donated? "Lib Left wing Idiots who say save fireworks money and donate to the poor should not buy their iPhones and donate to the poor instead. #Hypocrites," the 'Kesava' hero opines.

That said, Nikhil is not insensitive to the poor. "I will donate to the poor. I will pay my taxes and also buy fireworks to celebrate DIWALI.. Let's light the sky up guys. HAPPY Diwali everyone," he says. He got about 1500 likes for this!
