We all know him. He is energetic, young and handsome. An actor whom we all fell in love with when the 'Sekhar Kammula' movie Happy Days was first released. His role as 'Rajesh' in this debut brought a lot of fame and brand to his acting. Happy Days was a super hit and is a sweet memory for the youth to this day.
Soon, Nikhil signed up many projects. From medium scale to high budget movies, he unwrapped his energy and charisma to the next level for every new project along his way.
His latest movie 'Keshava' brings his stint in Tollywood to almost a decade. From 2007 to 2017. There were some highs and lows in his career, which is normal for a growing young actor. His journey began with Happy Days and he signed up for films like Parasuram directed “Yuvatha” and Veedu Theda directed by 'Chinni Krishna', which did not do well at the box office. However, critics appreciated his skill and effort.
Soon, he was offered the lead role in Swami Rara next to Swathi, directed by Sudheer Varma. He got back the fame he thought that would slip away. After this, he signed up for films like Karthikeya directed by Chandu Mondeti, Surya vs Surya directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavaada directed by VI Anand and his most recent super hit entertainer Keshava directed by Sudheer Varma.
There`s a common pattern in all of the movies he did, it`s that he never goes with 'same old'. He chooses something new and something different. He brings about the energy that compartmentalizes well with his roles in the movies. He`s always the one to go with versatility, be it his genre of his movies or his character. He likes 'something different' and that 'something different' got him here.
A decade of journey in Telugu industry with a string of successful movies, Nikhil is unstoppable.
On this very occasion, he threw a private party for his close friends from Telugu industry including artists like Praveen, Sathya and Mega hero Allu Sirish and directors that he bonded well with over the years.
We hope to see him on the big screen more and more.
Keshava is in theatres now. Check it out!
