The second wave of Covid cases has taken everyone aback and there just seems no way to control the rising number of cases. Tamil Nadu is one of the states where the current cases are on the rise and if required precautionary measures aren’t taken, things are expected to be even worser.

In this light, the Tamil Nadu govt. actually did impose COVID 19 restrictions in the state from the 10th of April but hasn’t been effective and due to which, the govt. might consider the option of night curfew. In addition to this, theatres, parks, gyms and other common public hubs are anticipated to be completely shut.

This second wave is said to be even worser than the first COVID wave and in regards to this, Maharashtra government has already implemented full lockdown in their territory and states like Rajasthan and Delhi have implemented night curfew in their states as well. Mass vaccination drives in the Chennai city are full fledged and are being done at a faster pace.
