'iSmart Shankar' actress Nidhhi Agerwal is in the news for making a donation of Rs 1,00,000 lakh to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund. The amount will be spent on providing coronavirus relief to the needy.

The 'Savyasachi' actress, who has been doing films not just in Telugu but also in other langauges such as Tamil, is currently doing a role in Pawan Kalyan-starrer 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'. When the film hits the screens, Nidhhi will have had the biggest box-office release of her career till date. The period drama is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. Produced by AM Ratnam, it also features a host of other well-known actors.
Opening up about her role in the movie, Nidhhi in March said that she will be seen wearing grand costumes in the crazy Sankranthi release. Since the period film is set in a bygone era, Nidhhi will be seen as an "extraordinary" character.
Earlier this year, the star actress was in the news over her fans building a temple for her in Chennai. The 'Mr. Majnu' diva has acted in 'Bhoomi' and 'Eeswaran' in Tamil. In Telugu, she will also be seen in Ashok Galla's debut film. Galla is Mahesh Babu's nephew.
