'NGK' out of Diwali race? Selvaraghavan clarifies
Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
Suriya’s ‘NGK’ is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Directed by Selvaraghavan, the film was actually slated to release on Diwali along with Vijay’s ‘Sarkar’. However there were reports which suggested that the film may be postponed.
The buzz was that Selvaraghavan had to undergo a surgery and hence the film will be postponed from its originally slated Diwali release. While it’s worth mentioning here that 60% of the shoot has already been wrapped, if the filming continues at this speed- it’s a sure shot that ‘NGK’ will see a Diwali release.
But more than that, Selvaraghavan himself has made a clarification in his social page. “Hi friends. It was a simple medical procedure. I'm perfectly fine and have resumed work. Shooting for #NGK will start in next couple of days. Once again thank you all for your love and concern,” he said.
So we can hope that ‘NGK’ will get released for Diwali as stated.
