New storyline for Mohanlal - Vijithampy movie

The storyline for the Mohanlal - Vijithampy movie scheduled to begin by the mid of March has been changed.

The movie titled 'Kanal' was originally written to shoot amidst cane forests, but the non-availability of cane forests in the month of May forced the scriptwriter Suresh Babu to change the entire storyline.

The new story revolves around a christian family, two mothers and their only son. Sheela and Lakshmi are playing the mother characters of Mohanlal in the film.

This is the first time, Mohanlal is acting in a movie directed by Vijithampy.
