Covid-19 graph is on decline and normalcy is slowly returning back. Movie business will also be on its feet pretty soon. After Akshay Kumar's 'Bell Bottom', another film has revealed its release date. Farhan Akhtar's long awaited sports drama 'Toofan' is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 16th of July. The film was set to hit the theaters way before than this but the pandemic ruined all the plans.

The digital release of the film has been delayed as well. 'Toofan' was the only film to postpone its digital release due to second wave of pandemic. Recently, Farhan Akhtar shared a new poster of his character on Twitter and wrote, "With humility, love and in dedication to the fighting spirit of the beautiful people of our nation, our film ‘Toofaan’ will be releasing on July 16th. #ToofaanOnPrime"

'Toofan' will feature Farhan Akhtar in the shoes of a boxer who rise from the slums of Mumbai to become a respected National level athelete. Apart from Farhan, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal and others in supporting roles.
