The cost of iPhones has always been in the higher end. Now it is reported that the latest iPhone 7 might cost around Rs. 64,025, making one wonder whether this will be a downside for sales. 

According to a survey by Yahoo Finance, only a third of respondents are willing to overlook the price while buying the phone, some saying that they would only pay about Rs. 51,000 if the new iPhone 8 were to be rolled out, according to an RBC Capital Markets survey. Apple has taken some unpopular decisions like doing away with the headphone jack, but has been confident of its clientele remaining loyal. But according to the report, less than half said they might upgrade, though not immediately. It stands to be seen whether these surveys will become reality.
