Actor Pankaj Tripathi rose to new career heights after venturing into the digital entertainment space. He has given multiple iconic performances in recent years and thus managed to become a household name. Pankaj Tripathi's performance as the main antagonist Kaleen Bhaiya in Amazon Prime Video's 'Mirzapur' is loved by everyone and his dialogues have become common catchphrases.

However, while filming for the show, Pankaj had no idea that it would blow up and Kaleen Bhaiya will end up being such a popular character. Recently, he talked about this issue in India Today Conclave 2021.

Pankaj was asked whether people refer to him to him by his screen name. The actor replied, "Yes, it happens. And I'm waiting for them to issue a boarding pass to me in Kaleen Bhaiya's name. People come to my building and ask for Kaleen Bhaiya. Then the watchman of our building has to tell them that there's no one by that name here (laughs). I never thought Kaleen Bhaiya will become so popular."

Two seasons of Mirzapur have been released till now and a third one is being planned.
