Netizens troll Swara Bhasker, demand her arrest

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has come in for severe trolling on the Internet. It all began with a tweet that drew a random parallel between Hindutva and the Taliban.

In her tweet, the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress wrote, “We can’t be okay with Hindutva terror and be all shocked and devastated at Taliban terror. We can’t be chill with Taliban terror and then be all indignant about Hindutva terror! Our humanitarian and ethical values should not be based on the identity of the oppressor or oppressed.”

The tweet went viral and triggered the hashtag, ‘Arrest Swara Bhasker’. At the time of writing, thousands of tweets were made using the hashtag and it was trending on Twitter India. While many are trolling her abusively, others are countering the actress with reason.

Ever since she did a masturbation scene in a film, Swara has been reduced to the scene. That’s why her Twitter bio says, “Introduced the vibrator to the Indian silver screen & gave employment for years to come to countless trolls & other vermin. Also an actor. More than Bollywood.”
