But Ronaldo, who opposes Coca-Cola, had appeared in one of Coca Cola commerce years ago. Similarly, actor Vijay has acted in a Cola commercial and has spoken out against the company in his movie Kathi. There are many memes currently going round in social media comparing the hypocrisy.

In this case, a screenshot of a question asked by a fan to Thalapathi Vijay on Twitter about his role in the Coca-Cola ad after the release of 'Kathi' is going viral. Vijay replied that "I feel happy to have done that now. I'm just a normal human being who corrects my mistakes."

He also went on to add "I don't endorse the brand anymore. When I heard kathi script it did make sense to me and I voiced it through Jeeva character. yes I did an ad earlier...most of the big Indian celebrities like sachin, aamir khan also were brand ambassadors." While we have already got an answer from actor Vijay, we will have to wait to see if Ronaldo responds.
