Kichcha Sudeep has been lauded by Netizens for defending his right not to entertain Hindi imposition. Recently, the 'Eega' and 'Baahubali' actor remarked that Hindi needn't be learned when it is not a national language. Ajay Devgn, being a Bollywood actor, countered him by claiming that Hindi is a national language.
Sudeep, sounding dignified, told the 'RRR' actor that he didn't intend to hurt, provoke or trigger a debate by starting the language debate. "I love and respect every language of our country. I would want this topic to rest," Sudeep tweeted.
Sudeep also said that he respects and loves Hindi, which is why he had learned the language. "I was wondering what the situation would be if my response was typed in Kannada. Don't we too belong to India, sir?" he asked Devgn.
He suggested that Devgn had reacted without understanding the issue well "Translations and interpretations are perspectives. That's the reason not reacting without knowing the issue thoroughly matters. I don't blame Devgn sir. Perhaps, it would have been a happy moment if I had received a tweet from you for a creative reason," Sudeep tweeted.
