Actress Anushka Shetty is one of the top heroines in Tamil and Telugu, and she was last seen in the movie Bhaagamathie which was a hit. Currently the actress is getting ready for the release of her movie with Madhavan, titled as Silence/ Nishabdam which was recently wrapped.

After the wrap of the movie, Anushka had returned to Hyderabad from the US, and media and fans clicked photos of the actress and the photos turned viral. However, several web portals had body shamed Anushka claiming her to have not lost weight and published news articles in a degrading manner.

This lead to netizens jumping in support of the actress, and they started trolling and tweeting against the web portals that body shamed Anushka, calling out the sites as ones with cheap minds, and that they need to grow up. Anushka had gained weight for her look in Inji Iduppazhagi/ Size Zero, and had been trained by nutritionist Luke Coutinho to lose weight, and had recently released the book "The Magic weight loss pill".
