Netflix is a leading streaming platform across the globe. The OTT giant streams a lot of quality titles from our regional cinema along with other international content. Today, Netflix India South announced their upcoming slate of South Indian films in 2023 and 2024 on Twitter.

The list of upcoming Tamil films coming to Netflix in 2023 and 2024 post the theatrical release are:

1) AK62 - Starring Ajith Kumar, directed by Vignesh Shivan and produced by Lyca Productions with music by Anirudh.

2) Aaryan - Starring Vishnu Vishal and Selvaraghavan. Praveen K directs the film with music by Sam CS.

3) Chandramukhi 2 - Directed by P Vasu, it stars Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut and Vadivelu with music by MM Keeravani.

4) Iraivan - Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara starrer which is directed by I Ahmed and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

5) Irugapatru - Starring Vikram Prabhu, Shraddha Srinath and Vidhaarth with direction by Yuvraj Dhayalaan and music by Justin Prabhakaran.

6) Japan - Raju Murugan's directorial with Karthi and Anu Emmanuel as the lead actors with music by GV Prakash.

7) Jigarthanda Double X - Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence star in this much-awaited sequel with music by Santhosh Narayanan.

8) Maamannan - Director Mari Selvaraj's upcoming film starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu, Fahad Faasil and Keerthy Suresh with music by AR Rahman.

9) An untitled film starring Vidhaarth and Yogi Babu to be directed by Arulchezian and produced by Lyca Productions.

10) An untitled production starring Jai and Aishwarya Rajesh, directed by Rohin Venkatesan and produced by Lyca Productions.

11) An untitled movie produced by Lyca Productions with Bharathiraja and Arulnithi as the lead, directed by Harish Prabhu.

12) Revolver Rita - Starring Keerthy Suresh, directed by K Chandru and produced by Passion Studios and The Route.

13) Thalaikoothal - Starring Samuthirakani and Kathir with direction by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan and bankrolled by Y Not Studios.

14) Thangalaan - Director Pa Ranjith's magnum opus project starring Chiyaan Vikram, Parvathy, Pasupathy and Malavika Mohanan with music by GV Prakash.

15) Vaathi - Dhanush starrer bilingual film directed by Venky Atluri with music composed by GV Prakash.

Apart from these films, Netflix India South revealed that the updates aren't over yet as they are yet to reveal a "big update". According to our sources, the announcement of 'Thalapathy 67' coming to Netflix after the theatrical run is going to be the mega announcement from the streaming giant. We already updated you that T67 is said to be Netflix's costliest buy in south Indian cinema. It will be updated once the production house officially announces the super-hyped project.
