Netflix, the streaming giant, has announced a StreamFest weekend. As per this, the OTT platform will be offering a free viewing window for two days in December for everyone in India.

Starting from December 5 (12:01 am), the offer will come to an end on December 6 at midnight. Anyone in India can watch all the blockbusters, web series, etc in those two days. Your free access will be limited to one SD stream, the company said in a statement.

If there are too many viewers accessing the platform during the two-day period, users could run the risk of not having access to free content if the demand is beyond Netflix's streaming capacity.

Netflix, with a subscriber base of more than 2 million in India, is the costliest in terms of subscription fee per month. In Telugu, it has hardly released any major direct-to-streamer movie (barring 'Miss India') this pandemic season. It's said that Netflix's focus on the Telugu market is only at its nascent stage.
