Thala Ajith's 'Nerkonda Paarvai' hit the magical 50th day on Sunday and Thala fans were in celebration mode but with a marked difference. After the death of Subashri in Chennai due to a banner falling on her and a lorry running over her the fans have abstained from putting up banners.
Thala Ajith fans on 'Nerkonda Paarvai' fiftieth day celebrated by planting tree saplings and also indulging in other social activities. Abhirami Venkatachalam who played a pivotal role in the film watched the movie at Rohini Silvers Screens Chennai and later inaugurated the sapling distribution. The 'Bigg Boss 3' contestant stated that like Thala Ajith his fans too are good people at heart and are very socially conscious and the mass hero would be proud of them. She added that trees give oxygen and water without which no one can live and that she is touched by the Thala fans gestures.
Abhirami has written on social media "My first experience in rohini theatre .... have no words ... ajith sir, vinoth sir, boney sir and Yuvan sir you gave life to my acting career ... kangal kalangi manam urugi siram taazhthi nandri solgiren... 50days of nerkondaparvai celebration..."
