It took Siddhant Chaturvedi just one phenomenal performance to cement his place in the competitive world of Bollywood. His role as MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' made him an household name and now he is set to appear in some very interesting films. Couple years ago, Siddhant had made headlines by sparking a debate about nepotism and recently he spoke about the issue once again. He believes that nepotism is almsot like a "law of the land" now.
The actor stated, "It is a known fact that outsiders take way longer to make their presence felt in the industry. I have seen many who have gone through a lot before they were even spotted to do something substantial despite having serious talent. I too have had my fair share of struggles for many years, which I truly cherish, before I got my break.”
Further in his statement, Siddhant thanked people responsible for his success. “I will be forever grateful to Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and Ritesh Sidhwani for the opportunities they have given me at the start of my career. I would be no one today without their hands over my head. I know I’m one of the fortunate strugglers who have got the attention that we truly deserve. I know of many who didn’t. It’s sad but it’s the truth," he said.
Siddhant will soon be seen in films like 'Bunty Aur Babli 2', 'Phoon Bhoot', 'Yudhra' and few others.
