Actor Aari, known for his performances in movies like Nedunchalai, Malai Pozhuthin Mayakkathiley etc, has been always known for his active participation in social activities and in protests conducted for greater causes, while also actively voicing out his opinion. Now, the actor has started a new activity.

On behalf of Maaruvom Maatruvom Trust, Aari has joined hands with Nilagiri Aadivasi Welfare association(NAWA), to take necessary actions and implement plans for the welfare of tribal people in Koodalur and Pandhalur areas of Nilgiris. Aari had recently attended the discussion meeting organised by NAWA for tribal people welfare activities where he said that he was inspired by a documentary on them by journalist Santhi and attended the event.

NAWA secretary Alwas expressed happiness over government helping the tribal people and also for Maaruvom Maatruvom trust joining hands with them.

He revealed plans to sell the agricultural products produced by them directly in markets without intermediaries, and to provide education facilities and preserve their culture. Aari is currently acting in Alekka costarring Bigg Boss 2 fame Aishwarya Dutta.
