A violent incident of beating up a differently-abled woman employee at a hotel of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department in Nellore has come to light. The culprit's name is Bhaskar, the deputy manager at the office.
Going into details, the victim had reportedly asked Bhaskar to wear the face mask in view of the Coronavirus risk. This was enough for the man to assault her inhumanely. In a viral CCTV footage video, Bhaskar can be seen dragging her and beating her up mercilessly even as two other employees in the room try to stop him.
Since the incident was captured by CCTV in the room, the police could arrest the assaulter in no time. The arrest happened after several police teams launched a hunt for Bhaskar after he absconded from the spot.
Tourism Minister Avanti Srinivas has suspended the assaulter.
